Ground rule 01
No jargon
If we have used a word you would not use at a barbecue, we have done it wrong. "Personal value proposition" gets translated into one plain sentence, out loud, and if it still sounds like a press release we start again.

About us
One coach, five formats, and a lot of care about what a career conversation is actually for.
Our story
Bottletop Coaching Co has been running since 2019. It exists because of one resignation form that sat unsigned on a desk for five months.

Vee spent eleven years on the other side of the desk. Agency recruitment, then in-house talent for a mid-sized organisation, where she ended up hiring for roles she had once done herself. She was good at it. She was also, by her own account, extremely tired of watching capable people make quiet, expensive mistakes with their working lives because nobody had ever sat them down and asked what they actually wanted.
The colleague was a capable operations lead who knew, quietly, that she was done. She had spent five months perfecting the resignation letter without sending it, and Vee realised she was not unusual. Plenty of animals know exactly what is wrong and have no idea what to do next. The gap between knowing and doing is enormous, and almost nothing in the working world is designed to close it.
So she left. Bottletop Coaching Co opened in 2019 with three clients, a spare room, and a firm rule that nobody would be sold a six-week programme they did not need. Most people, it turned out, needed one session. Some needed a plan. A few needed to be told, kindly and clearly, that the problem was their employer and not their attitude.
The practice has run on those terms ever since. It stays small on purpose. Vee works with every client personally, and she would rather turn work away than hand it to someone she has not met.
Who you will be working with
Founder & Lead Career Coach

Yes, that’s her
Vee runs everything here. She is a cat in her early thirties, endlessly organised, and far more interested in being genuinely useful than in being inspirational.
Before coaching she ran talent for a decade — five years in agency recruitment, five in-house, hiring across operations, marketing and early-career engineering. That job is a front-row seat to how people talk about themselves, and it is where she learned the thing that shapes the whole practice: almost nobody is under-qualified. They are under-described. The difference is enormous, and it is a writing problem far more often than a talent problem.
She left in 2019 because she would rather help people work these things out for themselves than keep fixing them quietly for somebody else’s company. She treats a session as a working appointment rather than a performance — there is something real on the table within the first few minutes, and the rest is structure, good questions, and honest encouragement.
How she works: she reads whatever you send her before you arrive, she keeps careful notes, and she sends a written action list the same night. She works in long blocks so people are not squeezed between a drop-in and an invoice. And she will tell you honestly, and kindly, if you do not need coaching at all — some people just need to be heard. As a person she is warm, genuinely curious about your life outside of work, and entirely unbothered by your last three career moves.
How we work
Four things that came out of seven years of watching people get unstuck, and that we will not trade away for a bigger client list.
Ground rule 01
If we have used a word you would not use at a barbecue, we have done it wrong. "Personal value proposition" gets translated into one plain sentence, out loud, and if it still sounds like a press release we start again.
Ground rule 02
Every session ends with a short written action list, sent to you the same evening while it is still fresh. Most of what people are missing is not knowledge. It is a decision that never got recorded anywhere.
Ground rule 03
Coaching cannot fix a manager who is the problem, a market with no roles in it, or a salary band that is simply wrong. Sometimes the caring answer is that you should leave — and if that is where you are heading, we will help you plan the leaving properly.
Ground rule 04
You know your job, your industry and what a good day looks like in it. Vee brings structure, a second brain, and a decade of watching other people work through the same knots. Neither half works without the other.

Bottletop Coaching Co is not a real company. It is a demonstration website created to showcase the booking, scheduling and client-management capabilities of Voyj. No services are actually provided, no bookings are taken, and no payments are accepted. Every person, client, price and testimonial on this site is invented for illustrative purposes.
In practice, that means the booking buttons on this site lead nowhere useful, the testimonials are written by nobody, and the practice has exactly one employee, who is fictional. What is real is the structure: the sessions, the pricing, and the booking experience are modelled closely on how a genuine small coaching practice would run.

No charge, no pitch. Tell Vee what is going on and she will give you an honest answer about whether coaching is the right next step.
